Ashley Gomberg, CRNP earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of Florida School of Nursing in 2006. She went on to earn her Masters Degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2009 and is a certified Nurse Practitioner. Her professional experience is in gastroenterology, hepatology, and infectious diseases with particular interest in Irritable Bowel Syndrome and hepatitis. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Ashley, Dr. Hirth, and Dr. Flescher specialize in colon cancer detection and endoscopic removal of colon polyps with minimally invasive techniques. They are experts in endoscopic diagnosis of Barrett’s Esophagus using Narrow Band Imaging and magnification. They specialize in the latest technology in the evaluation of refractory reflux using wireless ambulatory BRAVO pH analysis. They evaluate obscure GI bleeding with a wireless small bowel video capsule Endoscopy. They use advanced endoscopic techniques for the evaluation and management of diseases of the: esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas and gallbladder. They have special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. They use state of the art laboratory studies to diagnose Gluten allergies and Celiac Disease.
