Meet Dr. Leonard Flescher
Dr. Leonard Flescher is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. He was born in New York and completed his medical education at New York Medical College. He completed his Internship and Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Albert Einstein Medical School. He concluded his medical training with a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Medical College of Ohio. He has been practicing Clinical Gastroenterology in South Florida for over 20 years. He holds the distinguished honor of Fellowship of the American College of gastroenterology.
Dr. Hirth, Dr. Flescher Ashley, Dr. Hirth, and Dr. Flescher specialize in colon cancer detection and endoscopic removal of colon polyps with minimally invasive techniques. They are experts in endoscopic diagnosis of Barrett’s Esophagus using Narrow Band Imaging and magnification. They specialize in the latest technology in the evaluation of refractory reflux using wireless ambulatory BRAVO pH analysis. They evaluate obscure GI bleeding with a wireless small bowel video capsule Endoscopy. They use advanced endoscopic techniques for the evaluation and management of diseases of the: esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas and gallbladder. They have special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. They use state of the art laboratory studies to diagnose Gluten allergies and Celiac Disease.
